Sauce are one of the regions quickest growing startups, with multiple awards behind their name. They have doubled their team almost four times over since their inception a couple of years ago. Work continues to pour in and the brand I created for them is something being seen all over the country.
As a development company, they look to outside contractors to fulfil much of the design portion of their projects. Despite initially being brought in to create their brand identity, I find myself continuing to work closely with the Sauce team in a design capacity, often consulting and creating visual identities for many of their clients. With them, I have worked on tv app designs for Hull-based telecommunications company KCOM, branding for in-house projects at the internationally recognised Siemens, and helped to piece together an app UI for Ideal Boilers.
The sauce brand remains one of the most praised and commented on pieces of work I have created, to date. It is, of course, one of my favourites (and, in fact, one of the first I completed when trading as 'southpaw'!) and I'm lucky enough to continue to work closely with the company as they continue to grow and pull in more work.
